How do I find the root folder of bootable Unibeast USB (boot0af error)

This is probably a stupid question, but I don't know which of the folders of my Unibeast USB is the root folder.

What I am trying to do is follow this thread: https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/how-do-you-fix-boot0af-error.109717/

I am asking this question because currently my system is unable to boot without Unibeast USB. Booting the system without the bootloader gets me the boot0af error.

I do believe that this is error is occurring because my hard drive and USB installer...

I downloaded the latest (and previous 5.2.0) Unibeast 6.1.1 and when I select installation type (Yosemite or El Capitan) it tells me "Selected MAC OS Installer is Incomplete". I tried with it in downloads folder and in the applications folder. Only one copy on the drive. So, I copied from my NAS drive another copy and it gives me the same error. I saw where someone said go to the apple store and download again, but it is not there. So, I saw where someone said go to your purchases in the...

Selected MACOS Installer is Incomplete

hello

I downloaded macOS 10.12.3 from App Store, I downloaded the latest Unibeast when I select installation type (macOS Sierra) it tells me "Selected MACOS Installer is Incomplete". but it work for macOS 10.12.1 and has no problem.

i change time and signing out of your Mac App Store account and then sign back in again but it doesn't work.

i do this in virtual machine and macOS Sierra installed on my pc, but it doesn't work.

but at same time it work for macOS 10.12.1 and has no problem

Hello,

(I read the UniBeast 7 TroublesShooting Notes)

I am using Sierra 10.12.3 and trying to create installation USB for Sierra
I'm trying to run Unibeast, but once I get to the License agreement dropdown, whether I click 'Read License', 'Disagree', or 'Agree', it does nothing. Just simply can't get past that dropdown.

What I can do about that?

Hi,
I am on my Acer Aspire E1-571 laptop which is running Mac OS Yosemite fine, but when I am using Unibeast 7.0.1 (trying to make an installation USB for macOS Sierra, it always hangs as installing bootloader. I have left my computer overnight before (11 at night to 10 in the morning) and it still hasn't worked. Here is my log

  1. Downloaded Install macOS Sierra.app countless times. Finally gave up on wireless and used a wired connection.
  2. After much research and reading, unless I missed something, decided to create a new topic for an old issue:
  3. Attempted to provided requested debugging information, unfortunately, when reviewing /var/log/install log, I did not find either of the following two strings: "Install: "UniBeast Mac App Store"" or Displaying 'Install Failed' UI.

Hi all. For some reason UniBeast refuses to work no matter the destination.

I tried everything I have: A Sandisk 16GB USB drive, many Kingston 16 and 32 Drives, even a 8gb partition on the end of my disk. Everything throws a "Couldn't copy base system".
I tried using a USB slot from the back of my case, 2.0, 3.0 and nothing. The same error happened even when trying to install to a small partition in my hard drive.

I'm out of ideas.

I get this error message. If I click OK and try to Continue, nothing happens. The 16Gb USB stick is erased and formatted as instructed.

I'm a bit stumped on this one. I was trying to bring an old box back to life (Gigabyte GA-H55M-UD2H) which had been running 10.11 as the latest OS. It's back together with a mish-mash of parts and replacing my wife's seldom-used desktop (which was an old Core2Duo). I figured this would be easy since I know it's hackintosh-able.

I downloaded the latest UniBeast, my copy of 10.12, and made my boot media on a well-tested SanDisk key that I was just using for some Acronis testing. It boots...

Hello,
I am brand new to the mackintosh world and i decided to convert my desktop. I have the current version of Unibeast and macOS Sierra 10.12.15 and this problem occurs. Each time I download a clean version of Sierra from the apple store it doesn't work and I haven't gotten it to work yet. If anyone has any tips to help it would be greatly appreciated:) I also have a GTX 560 graphics card.

Can't seem to download Sierra from the App Store

I tried to download from the APPSTORE but it never puts anything in apps called INSTALL MACOS SIERRA and therefore UNIBEAST has nothing to do.

After the AppStore download it runs the installer. I quit the installer and go to apps to try to find it. Where does the APPSTORE put it?

MacBook Pro 2016 cannot download Yosemite - any workaround?

Hey,

I have a 2016 MBP 13" with Sierra. Unfortunately Yosemite is not available on the AppStore any more, and I cannot just look into the "Purchases" tab because we're in 2017 not 2014. :)

I found the original DMG on "another source", but seems that there's no way for me to "insert" it into Unibeast.

Any workarounds?
