Hello,

I want to build a Hackintosh on a HP 8300 Elite SFF Intel Core i5-3470 but unfortunately cannot create the bootable Stick with UniBeast.

I tried to create a bootable UniBeast High Sierra from App Store on SanDisk 16GB Cruzer Blade Stick via my MacBook Pro 2012 (MacBookPro9.2) running OS X 10.9.5. Mavericks.

I think I have two problems:
  1. I cannot get the full installer of 4.8GB (10.13.3) from the App Store. Every time I try to download High Sierra I end up with a 19.5MB...

I found that if I uncheck Set Nvidia to VESA NV-diable=1 it will boot into Utilities
When I hit the F12 and try to boot it wont boot but when I hit the space bar is see the SET NVIDIA to VESA is check agan. It looks like it set as a default.
Is there a way to go into Clover shell and to stop that coming up as a default?

Hmm. Having this problem with Unibeast 8 downloaded this morning. Pretty sure my 8 GB USB stick is properly formatted - Mac OS Extended (Journaled), GUID partition map. I initialized with Disk Utility on El Capitan.

"No Disk Available To Install On
UniBeast installation requires a HFS-partitioned removable disk with at least 7 GB free."

Any ideas?

UniBeast Chimera vs UniBeast Clover - MBR Support

So, I've noticed upon testing that the newer UniBeast USBs that use Clover allow for the OS to be installed to Master Boot Record formatted drives, but the older UniBeast USBs that use Chimera do not allow for the OS to be installed to Master Boot Record formatted drives. I was wondering why this is the case.

I created bootable usb drive with UniBeast, then i tried to add it to uefi boot options, but when i chose my usb drive, UEFI just froze and i need to reboot my pc, this partition correctly reads and writes in both Hackintosh (arleady on this machine) and Windows, other bootable USBs work fine, even that i created in Hackintosh, that problem only with UniBeast

Any suggestions?

EDIT: Solved! Resizing the partition to 64GB worked. Credit to this reddit thread: https://www.reddit.com/r/hackintosh/comments/3adojk/unibeast_wont_detect_my_flash_drive/

Pretty much what it says in the title, I am getting the "not enough space" message. Formatted as GUID and Mac Extended Journaled.

The USB is legit and I have used it for a long time, sadly I currently don't have another free USB stick for it so I'd have to wait 3 days (if I ordered now) to get a 32GB one.

Hey, so I tried to use UniBeast 8.1 and I got this error: There was an error creating your UniBeast drive: Copy of apfs.efi failed. I have looked all over the forum (and Internet) and I have found many resources that did not work. I looked on this thread:

Hello,

I was in a process of installing High Sierra from an old iMac 2009 to a new Hackintosh. I used the last versions of UNIBEAST and High Sierra. After the file transfer has been completed, UNIBEAST continued to run endlessly. I stopped it and I read the log, which said it was impossible to mount EFI : AppleEvent handler failed. (-10000).

I try Terminal : distil list :
/dev/disk1 (external, physical):

#: TYPE NAME SIZE...

Unable to mount EFI : AppleEvent handler failed. (-10000)
