Use Unibeast 6.1.1 (El Capitan Clover EFI) on real mac.

Hello,

I had a few time people with genuine Macs asking me to help them reinstall their system from stratch with the last version of osx (when they decide to upgrade the harddrive on their old unibody for example).

I was wondering if I could use my Unibeast key (6.1.1 El Capitan Clover EFI) to do it, and there wouldn't be any side effects.

Unibeast problem with el capitan?

Hello all there might be a post about this but i could not find one. I have been trying to do an install on El capitan on my pc but on Unibeast it refuses to make a usb for installation. ive used 3 different usb , all with different sizes. it stopped at "could not copy files." any suggestions?

UniBeast 6.1.1 can't click Agree on License

Hello,

I am using Yosemite 10.10.2 and trying to create installation USB for El Capitan.
I'm trying to run Unibeast, but once I get to the License agreement dropdown, whether I click 'Read License', 'Disagree', or 'Agree', it does nothing. Just simply can't get past that dropdown.

What I can do about that?

Error creating UniBeast 6 Drive

When I try to create 10.11 bootable USB UniBeast stop with that message.

"There was an error creating your UniBEast drive: Couldn't remove installation packages"

Can i trust unibeast

hi everyone,

i know maybe many of you think this question is strange. However i want be sure i cannot trust unibeast because it is not opensource and we dont know what is inside this project. it takes to much time if the network is offline. However, if network is online it just takes about 20 mins. so i think it might be download some datas from internet.

maybe im wrong but i want to be sure also is there any way to make bootable manually i mean i want to make bootable usb without any...

First of all I want to thank them for everything they have done with these projects. I am a 16 years old student from mexico and i used your guides and software to build my first hackintosh, the same that i will use in a national prototypes contest, and i want to know if you can give your permission or approbation to use your software(Unibeast-Multibeast) for that project.


It consist in building a hackintosh with a dual boot...

While the menu screens for "disk utility" have changed, I followed the instructions for creating a bootable USB with Unibeast 6.1.1 with El Capitan. Chose Legacy and Nvidia package as part of the Unibeast install/USB creation. After complete, moved Multibeast to USB and removed the USB from MacBook Pro.

This is actually a test build in older MSI P67A motherboard and Sandy Bridge i7, before upgrading the machine, using a spare 256 SSD which was upgraded to the current 500 SSD. Unplugged the...

Unibeast hangs on installing bootloader

Hi!
Making the USB installer with both Unibeast 6.0 and 6.0.1 hangs after copying files when its installinging the boot loader .

Here are the logg entries:

Unibeast 6.2 is not recognizing USB drive

Strange that unibeast 6.1 properly recognize usb drive whereas, unibeast 6.2 does not pick up the same drive, whether I put it in usb2.0 or usb3.0 ports.

So I have successfully created a hack before, but this time I noticed that when I create a USB stick with Unibeast, the volumes mentioned in the title mount?? This has not happened before.....ultimately, unibeast hangs at the copying files screen. any ideas?

I am creating USB stick on a Macbook running 10.6.8

So Ive done all the necessary things to make a usb drive but unibeast is stuck copying files. I can see the capacity of the drive going down but it has been stuck copying files for a while now. Any ideas? Thanks to anyone who helps :)

I get this

"there was an error creating your UniBeast drive: couldn't copy base system"

And her is the log but i couldn't find the requested lines. This is at the moment y wast creating the USB with Unibeast

i have been trying to make an install of el capitan, i have successfully been able to do it before but halted because of sound issues. now with the new install I have redownloaded and still tells me that "Make sure neither 'OS X Install ESD' or 'OS X Base System' are mounted on your drive" ive looked on other threads but with no luck. any suggestions

I downloaded the latest (and previous 5.2.0) Unibeast 6.1.1 and when I select installation type (Yosemite or El Capitan) it tells me "Selected MAC OS Installer is Incomplete". I tried with it in downloads folder and in the applications folder. Only one copy on the drive. So, I copied from my NAS drive another copy and it gives me the same error. I saw where someone said go to the apple store and download again, but it is not there. So, I saw where someone said go to your purchases in the...

Hi fellow hackintoshers, I've recently decided to update unibeast and create another bootable USB, but things didn't go as smooth. I have OS X 11.4, and unibeast 6.2.0, but when i try to install after selecting the bootloaders and all, and error message saying "Make sure neither OS X Install ESD or OS X Base System are mounted on your drive". I went on the forum and found a reply saying to check the disk utility and unmount the disk image but there was none... Please someone......
